The painting 'No Time
to Blossom' has been created by artist Cindy Lass in response to a
commission by the Anne Frank Trust to capture the tree the young
girl could see from the attic where she was hiding from the Nazis. The painting is to be unveiled by Michael Winner in Holland Park on Thursday 12 June 2008, the date that would have been Anne Frank's 79th birthday had she survived. Later in the year, the painting is to be auctioned through a top auction house, with all proceeds going to the Anne Frank Trust. The painting can be viewed at the Enid Lawson Gallery from Thursday 12 June. Anyone who would like details of the auction once they are released can register their interest via email here |
