PAUL DMOCH

Paul Dmoch paints architectural watercolours of astonishing quality, with brilliant use of light and dark 'to reveal the shapes and show the soul of the architecture’. They have brought Paul wide international recognition.

Paul was born in Poland in 1958, but these days travels widely around Europe.  He qualified as an architect but has been ‘playing and working’ with water-colours for thirty years.  His most recent travels have taken him to Italy, Greece, Spain and Holland for inspiration - and back to Italy again.

Paul’s work has been shown at the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour and the Royal Watercolour Society.  He has been a finalist for several years in the Singer & Friedlander/Sunday Times Watercolour Competition, and has won the Frank Herring Prize, the Daler/Rowney Premier Award and the silver medal at the Accademia Internazionale d’Arte Moderna in Rome.  Enid Lawson Gallery has been proud to represent his work in London since 2003.
